The ACM Turing 50th Celebration Conference - China (ACM图灵奖五十年中国大会) will be held in the magnificent city of Shanghai, China, 12-14 May, 2017. This year we aim at addressing a key theme on “Trustworthy Network Big Data”. This conference will feature world-class plenary speakers, major technical symposia, industry forum and workshops. Undergraduate students who have played a key role in a research project are invited to submit an abstract to this poster session. Any project broadly related to big data is within the scope of this session including but not limited to the following areas.
● Big Data Science and Foundations
  ● Big Data Infrastructure
    ● Big Data Management
    ● Big Data Search and Mining
    ● Big Data Security & Privacy
    ● Big Data Applications
    ● Industry Track
● Applications of Big Data
● Applications of Artificial Intelligence
Based on the quality of submissions, a number of students will be selected to present posters describing their research at the ACM Turing 50th Celebration Conference - China. Selected students must attend the conference and present their posters at the conference.
Longer-term, we hope a larger and more vibrant competition will not only incentivize more undergraduates to "get hooked" to computer science research early, but also provide an opportunity for many undergraduates already engaged in computer science research to attend a top-tier conference.
A "best poster" winner will be selected and announced at the awards session.
Eligibility
For the purposes of this competition, a student is considered an undergraduate student if he/she has not yet obtained a BS/BA (or equivalent) degree at the time of submission. If the applicant's school system is "non-traditional," and the applicant considers themselves eligible, then the Chairs should be contacted prior to submission.

Poster Submission Due:  April 10, 2017
  Acceptance Notification: April 15, 2017

Any submission that does not satisfy above requirements may be automatically discarded without further evaluation.
